Malaviya National Institute of Technology - MNIT (Malaviya Regional Engineering College - MREC) , Jaipur is one of the eighteen NITs established in the country by the Government of India. Earlier this institute was known as Malaviya Regional Engineering College. The college is a joint venture of the Government of India and the State Government of Rajasthan. The college was set up with the objective of providing facilities for higher education, research and training in various areas of engineering and technology. The college is well known for its excellent academic and extra-curricular standards.
